It's a pretty old onsen resort, as expected, but nothing really didn't bother us. Would be great to have some newer towels as our floor mat towel was torn. I find the driving to the hotel is OK - it's winding but nothing too difficult.

It’s a really nice affordable place to stay. We enjoyed the meals and thought the onsen was excellent. We had a Japanese style room and thought the futon bedding was too hard. Also, the featured Trip photo of the hotel/room lead me to believe that the room would be larger, with beds. The actual room was smaller and we slept on the tatami. The onsen is open t9 the public, so on busy days, it brings in many people staying at the nearby campground . Overall, we thought it was an excellent.

２回目の利用です。山間部の小さな宿泊施設ですが、季節柄、自然のロケーションは最高でした。花あり、新緑ありの中でゆっくり癒されました。料理も設備も料金なりですが、トロトロの温泉は気持ち良いです。

It takes 20km (30 minutes by taxi) from Ukiha Station. I paid 6,000 yen for a taxi and got in. Since Uber was in the countryside, I couldn't catch one, so I called one from a restaurant or hotel.
